HM-Mitsubishi Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, put its best foot forward by launching the much awaited Lancer Evolution X at the Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai on November 18.
Popularly known as Evo X, the sedan with next generation technology and successful rallying pedigree will be priced at Rs. 49.95 lakh, ex-showroom in Delhi. Among the other Mitsubishi offerings on display will be the all-new Montero priced at Rs. 38.95 lakh and Outlander with a price tag of Rs. 20.25 lakh, ex-showroom in Delhi.
“Advanced aerodynamic design and the lightweight 4B11 MIVEC Twin Scroll Turbo Engine make Evo X a unique creature of state-of-the-art research & design with few real competitors in the segment. It is a coveted addition to the HM-Mitsubishi product portfolio and will have a major impact in its segment in the Indian automotive scenario,” said Hindustan Motors Managing Director, Mr. Manoj Jha, here today. “HM will be launching several new variants in both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments in the next 12 to 15 months, starting the first quarter of 2011,” he added.
